The Day Out program supports seniors and their caregivers in promoting positive living in Los Alamos and White Rock. Day Out is for seniors who are not ready for placement in an assisted living community but would benefit from socialization, programming, and activities.
Your loved one will experience the warmth of our compassionate and attentive staff as they connect with fellow seniors in enjoyable activities aimed at boosting dignity, purpose, and, of course, fun! We strive to provide a supportive experience at every level. We encourage each member to participate in activities that make them happy and invite them to try new things. Day Out staff provide the attention and encouragement that make each day at our center an enjoyable experience.
Day Out staff truly listen and respond thoughtfully to residents and their families to provide a dynamic environment that meets members’ evolving needs. Daily activities engage the brain in healthy ways, including music, art, moderate physical activity, social activity, a hot meal, and nutritious snacks. The program provides cost-effective respite for primary caregivers, allowing their loved ones to age-in-place and avoid expensive institutional alternatives.
We offer home pick-up and drop-off services.
Our facility is licensed by the NM Department of Health.
